That was fucking great, and Paint It Black is one of my favorite songs of all time. I'm guessing that was included as a spoof on that one Vietnam show that had it on the soundtrack. Either way it was awesome. I think the person who posted before me doesn't understand the rating scales. I don't know how you can say something is "decent" and then give it a "10". Doesn't quite add up in my book. *shrugs*

The graphics could use some refinement, and it was way too drawn out, but there was some very funny shit in there. I just wish you would have kind of cut to it.

Potential

This idea has so much potential, and this is probably the most well delivered yet. But I think if you followed the advice I gave in my review of 7 it would be a shitload better. (although the new animator suggestion was mostly just me being playful).

Progressively worse

I think these are getting a little less funny as you go along. There are a lot of improvements I think you could do with this. First of all get Ill Will to animate it :P Jon Mathers is probably one of the best artist/animators on this site, and I think the best way to do an "official" newscast would be to use the best of the best for each aspect. I also think using someone else's character in that fashion is possibly going to be construed as an attack or at least considered disrespectful. And I think Germaine has a lot more class than that :P Next advice: When you plug an animation or game, and want people to check it out, why not link it? Just allow people to click on the news window and have it open _blank, and then they can check out the shit you're talking about. Third bit of advice, work on the voices a bit, sounds too script-read, including the callers. Who really need to pull the mic away from their faces a bit :P Sorry to be so critical, but I'm trying to help.

I am hoping the author isn't serious about the porn links, and I think the people who reviewed it who commented on them are imbeciles. The porn isn't there to help you find it, it's there so that Newgrounds can afford to keep the site up. *rolls eyes*

Had some flaws

I thought it was entertaining. The Nintendo nostalgia alone was worthwhile either way. My biggest beef with this movie was way too much interactivity. I agree with you that movies shouldn't be interactive. So I'm guessing you did it to show how annoying it was, and well it worked, but I'm not the one you have to convince :P

Best yet

Other than my previously mentioned problems with inaccuracy in styles, this was hella hella good. As far as musical ideas? Try some fast techno shit like Ultraviolence or maybe some good rap and go the Jet Li route? Although even death metal would go well to this type of stuff. So would Carl Orff's Oh Fortuna, but that's kind of cliche' (although I never get sick of it).
